Helena has seven years experience working in regeneration, housing and community development and has a BA Hons in Sociology and Media Communications and an MSc in Urban Regeneration and Governance. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and Italian and has experience of interpreting at meetings and translating documents.

Helena heads up Solon's Research and Service Improvement team and has particular expertise in housing management, communications and customer care. She has delivered Mystery Shopping programmes for housing groups and local authorities across the country.  She has developed Solon's Resident Scrutiny framework and is currently working with a number of clients to develop their tenant panels.

Helena also works as an Independent Resident Advisor on regeneration, stock option, transfer and Tenant Management projects. She oversees and organises major consultation programmes, including Test of Opinions, ballots and surveys.
