Helena has seven years experience working in regeneration, housing and community development and has a BA Hons in Sociology and Media Communications and an MSc in Urban Regeneration and Governance. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and Italian and has experience of interpreting at meetings and translating documents.

Helena heads up Solon's Service Improvement team and has particular expertise in housing management, communications and customer care. She has delivered Mystery Shopping programmes for housing groups and local authorities across the country and is currently establishing a mystery shopper bench marking club and service improvement programme for our clients.

Helena also works as an Independent Resident Advisor on stock option, transfer and Tenant Management projects. She oversees and organises major consultation programmes, including Test of Opinions, ballots and surveys.
